Privacy Notice

Account information you provide. When you register, we collect your name, work email address, company, and job title. When you set a password, we store it in hashed (irreversible) form — never in plain text.

Information you generate in the product. The carriers you choose to track, any lists or views you create, and settings tied to your account.

Usage and technical data. Basic activity needed to run and secure the service — sign-in events, in-app session activity, and a hashed form of your IP address used only to rate-limit sign-ups and protect against abuse. We do not store your raw IP address for this purpose.

Public regulatory data. Carrier safety information in Voyant (DOT/MC numbers, inspections, crashes, out-of-service records, insurance and authority status) comes from public U.S. government sources, primarily the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). This is public data about motor carriers, not personal data you provide.

• To provide, operate, and improve LogisticsIQ.
• To create and secure your account, and to authenticate you.
• To send account and service messages — for example, the link to activate your account or reset your password, and, if you request one, follow-up about extending trial access.
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Data you create in Voyant — such as the carriers you track — is scoped to your account. Other users signing up through the public LogisticsIQ site cannot see your lists, and you cannot see theirs. Shared, organization-wide views exist only for licensed enterprise customers who explicitly set them up.

We use a single, strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. If you block it, you will not be able to sign in.

We share the minimum information necessary with vendors that help us run the service, under agreements that limit their use of it to providing services to us:

• Cloud hosting and application delivery.
• A managed database provider for storing account and product data.
• An email delivery provider for account and service messages.

Applied Value consultants may access data to operate the service and support customer engagements.

We keep account information for as long as your account is active. Historical carrier safety snapshots used for trend history are retained on a rolling basis (approximately six months). You can ask us to close your account and delete your personal information (see below); public regulatory data about carriers is not personal to you and remains available from its source.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to limit access to it.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you can ask us to close your account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA. To make a request, contact us at the address below.

LogisticsIQ is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this notice from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above, and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
