Privacy Notice

Last updated: August 4, 2026

This Privacy Notice explains how Applied Value Group, doing business as Applied Value and/or LogisticsIQ (“LogisticsIQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit logisticsiq.co, create or use a LogisticsIQ account, use Voyant or another LogisticsIQ tool, communicate with us, or receive related support or business communications (collectively, the “Services”).

This Notice does not govern personal information processed under a separate Applied Value consulting engagement where a different privacy notice or agreement applies. It also does not replace a customer’s own privacy obligations when the customer controls personal information submitted to the Services.

Notice at Collection

At or before collection, we may collect business identifiers and professional information, account and authentication data, customer content, communications, internet or electronic-network activity, and public-source carrier information. We use these categories to provide, secure, support, administer, improve, and market the Services; communicate with users; comply with law; and protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Retention depends on the purpose, account status, legal requirements, security needs, and applicable agreements, as described below.

1. Who We Are and Our Privacy Roles

For account information, service-usage data, security logs, support communications, and our own business-development activities, LogisticsIQ generally determines why and how personal information is processed and acts as a controller or business under applicable privacy law.

When an enterprise customer submits personal information to the Services and instructs us how to process it, the customer may be the controller or business and LogisticsIQ may act as its processor or service provider. That processing is governed by the customer agreement and, where applicable, a data processing addendum. If you seek to exercise rights regarding information controlled by your organization, contact your organization first; we will assist it as required.

2. Personal Information We Collect

Marketing and preference informationCommunication preferences, event or demo interest, interactions with business communications, and inferred interest in LogisticsIQ or Applied Value services.

How we handle IP addresses. Where we need your IP address to protect the Services, we derive a one-way hash of it and store that rather than the address itself. We use it to rate-limit sign-ups and to record abuse and duplicate-registration events in our internal audit trail. Separately, our hosting, content-delivery, and database providers process IP addresses as part of delivering and securing the Services, under their own retention practices.

We do not intend for the Services to collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, financial-account credentials, payment-card security codes, precise geolocation, health information, biometric identifiers, government identification documents, or information about children. Please do not submit such information unless expressly authorized under a written agreement.

3. Sources of Personal Information

We collect personal information:

  • directly from you when you register, configure the Services, request support, communicate with us, or enter content;
  • from your organization, organization administrators, or colleagues when they invite you, configure shared access, or provide business contact information;
  • automatically from your browser, device, and use of the Services through logs, cookies, and similar strictly necessary technologies;
  • from public government databases and other authorized data providers; and
  • from Applied Value personnel, affiliates, business partners, event organizers, or professional networking sources in connection with legitimate business-to-business outreach.

4. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to:

  • create, authenticate, administer, and secure accounts;
  • provide carrier intelligence, alerts, reports, saved views, collaboration, and other Service functionality;
  • personalize settings and maintain organization-level access controls;
  • process Customer Content at the direction of you or your organization;
  • provide support, troubleshoot issues, communicate about outages or changes, and respond to requests;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, scraping, and security threats; maintain logs and audit trails;
  • monitor performance, analyze product adoption, improve features, test changes, and develop new services;
  • contact business users about LogisticsIQ access, trial expiration, demonstrations, training, related LogisticsIQ offerings, or Applied Value services that may be relevant, subject to applicable law and your communication choices;
  • enforce agreements, investigate violations, resolve disputes, protect rights and safety, and establish or defend legal claims;
  • comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, audit, and law-enforcement obligations; and
  • conduct a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction.

Where laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR require a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following: performance of a contract or steps requested before a contract; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, improving, and responsibly marketing a business service; compliance with legal obligations; protection of vital interests where applicable; and consent where required. You may withdraw consent at any time, but withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing. When we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the nature of the data, your reasonable expectations, the benefits of processing, and safeguards against privacy impact.

6. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Applied Value affiliates and authorized personnel for Service operations, support, security, administration, analytics, and legitimate business development;
  • your organization and its administrators, including where they manage users, shared views, access, exports, or account closure;
  • service providers and subprocessors that provide hosting, databases, authentication, email delivery, monitoring, analytics, customer support, security, and professional services, subject to contractual restrictions;
  • professional advisers such as lawyers, auditors, accountants, insurers, and consultants where reasonably necessary;
  • government authorities, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security; and
  • participants in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising and do not use personal information for third-party advertising. If our practices change, we will update this Notice and provide legally required choices before engaging in the new activity.

7. Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies

Cookies. We use a small number of strictly necessary first-party cookies: a session token that keeps you signed in across LogisticsIQ tools, and the cross-site-request-forgery and callback-URL cookies our authentication library sets during sign-in. The session cookie is scoped to the logisticsiq.co domain so a single sign-in works across our tools. We do not use advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics or tag-management scripts. If you block these cookies you will not be able to sign in.

Browser storage. The Services also store information locally in your browser to preserve preferences and work in progress — for example, sidebar state, recently viewed carriers, saved filters and views, your selected project, and data you have uploaded into a tool but not yet submitted. This information stays on your device, is not a cookie, and is not transmitted for advertising. Clearing your browser storage will discard it.

Product usage. While you have a LogisticsIQ tool open, the application periodically records which tool and page you are viewing and the project you have selected, associated with your account. We use this to understand which features are used, to size and support accounts, and to inform product decisions. It is first-party only and is never disclosed for advertising.

We also use server logs and monitoring technologies for security, debugging, and performance. We maintain a current inventory of the cookies and similar technologies we use. If we introduce non-essential analytics or marketing technologies, we will update this Notice and provide consent or opt-out controls where required.

8. Organization Accounts and Shared Views

Information created in an individual account is not visible to unrelated public users. If your account is part of an enterprise or organization workspace, authorized administrators and users may access information according to the organization’s configuration and permissions. Your organization may direct us to add, remove, transfer, export, retain, or delete account information and Customer Content. We are not responsible for your organization’s internal use of information it accesses through administrative controls.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Notice, including to provide the Services, maintain security and audit records, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and preserve evidence. Retention depends on the category of information, sensitivity, volume, risk, account status, customer instructions, and contractual requirements.

Account and Customer Content are generally retained while an account or customer relationship is active and for a limited period afterward to support reactivation, export, backup cycling, security, and legal obligations. Security logs, support records, billing records, and legal records may be retained longer.

Historical carrier safety snapshots used for trend history are pruned on a rolling basis, currently 183 days for carriers under active monitoring. Public-source carrier information and de-identified or aggregated information may be retained independently of your account. When information is no longer needed, we delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it, subject to backup and legal-hold limitations.

10. International Data Transfers

LogisticsIQ and its service providers may process personal information in the United States and other countries that may have different data-protection laws than your country. Where required, we use recognized transfer mechanisms and contractual safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, and take supplementary measures appropriate to the transfer. Enterprise customers may request additional transfer information through the applicable data processing addendum.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, such as access controls, encrypted connections, logging, monitoring, backups, and vendor-risk controls appropriate to the Service. Account passwords are stored only as a bcrypt hash — an irreversible form — and never in readable text. No security measure, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting credentials, using appropriate devices and networks, and promptly reporting suspected misuse.

12. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to request access to personal information; obtain a copy; correct inaccurate information; delete information; restrict or object to processing; receive portable data; withdraw consent; opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; limit use of sensitive personal information; appeal a denied request; and receive equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising rights.

To submit a request, email privacy@logisticsiq.co. Please describe your request and the account or email involved. We may need to verify your identity and authority before responding. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, but we may require proof of authorization and direct verification. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any denial or available appeal process.

You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us. You will continue to receive transactional, security, account, and service communications when necessary. Because we do not sell or share personal information or engage in targeted advertising, an opt-out signal such as Global Privacy Control will not change those practices; where legally required and applicable, we will honor recognized signals.

13. Additional U.S. State Disclosures

During the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the categories described in Section 2 and disclosed them for business purposes to the categories of recipients described in Section 6. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit, because the Service is not intended to collect such information. Applicable state laws may provide rights to know, access, correct, delete, obtain portability, opt out, appeal, and avoid discrimination.

Publicly available government records may be excluded from the definition of personal information under some laws, but we will evaluate requests in context and may assist in correcting our display or derived output where appropriate. A request to change an underlying government record generally must be directed to the agency or official correction process responsible for that record.

14. Carrier Data and Correction Requests

Carrier profiles and alerts may be based on public-source records that change or are later corrected. A carrier or authorized representative may contact privacy@logisticsiq.co or support@logisticsiq.co to report an apparent mismatch, duplicate, display issue, or derived-score concern. We may request verification and supporting information. We cannot alter an official government record, but we may correct our mapping, presentation, or calculation and may direct the requester to the appropriate source-data correction process.

15. Children

The Services are business tools and are not directed to children or anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

16. Third-Party Sites and Services

The Services may link to third-party sites or integrate with third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this Notice. We encourage you to review them before providing information.

17. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Notice to reflect changes in law, technology, data practices, or the Services. We will post the revised Notice and update the effective date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice where appropriate or required.
